WHIB Releases Playful & Sweet Music Video for CHERRY PIE
On August 5 at 6 PM Korea Local Time, WHIB returned with the music video for CHERRY PIE from their second mini album of the same name, which reflects WHIB’s search for their own sound. CHERRY PIE pairs an addictive melody with a rhythmic beat.
The lyrics were written by Ha Da Won, who has worked on Type of Girl by TripleS and Blue Heart by fromis_9. The composition was co-written by HUMBLER, who has worked on PADO bt NCT U and RUNNING TO FUTURE by ZEROBASEONE.
The composition was co-written by WILJAM, who worked on Sunday Driver by Soobin from TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Niklas Persson, who worked on Perfect Night by LE SSERAFIM, and Heonje.
The members of WHIB described the title track CHERRY PIE as a cute and sweet song, paired with a playful routine in which they divide a pie into four parts and place cherries on each slice for a memorable stage moment.
WHIB said they hope to be seen as an eight-colored chameleon for their versatility, setting goals that include music show wins and strong digital chart results. They also thanked their fandom, AnD, for their support and promised lively performances.
WHIB is a seven-member boy group under C-JeS Entertainment. Originally as eight, they made their debut on November 8, 2023 with the single album Cut-Out.
In 2025, members LeeJeong, Kim Junmin, and Wonjun participated in the MNET survival show Boys II Planet, which formed ALPHADRIVEONE. They ranked 12th, 13th, and 62nd respectively.
