Red Velvet Returns with Music Video For Summer Anthem Surfin’ Boy
On July 3rd at 6 p.m. local Korean time. Red Velvet released the music video for their newest title track Surfin’ Boy, from their newest summermini-album Velvet Summer.
According to SM Entertainment, the title track Surfin’ Boy is a dance song featuring a refreshing sound and the members’ ethereal vocal harmonies, foreshadowing the birth of a new summer Velvet song.
Surfin’ Boy was written solely by member JOY and co-produced by Soulkidd from THE HUB (ODE TO LOVE by NCT WISH), HONEY NOISE (Soñar (Breaker) by NMIXX), Kwon Yejin of Girl Group UDTT (15-LOVE by Hearts2Hearts), MonoTree (LA DI DA by EVERGLOW) and JKKJ.

Red Velvet held their fan concert Red Velvet FAN-CON: A Day In Red Velvet from July 31 to August 2 at Seoul Hwajeong Sports Center, At the event, they premiered the title track Surfin’ Boy and the B-side Hula Hoop, eliciting explosive reactions from fans.
