SH-SH-SHINee’s back!
On June 1st at 6 pm KST, SHINee released the music video for “Atmos” from their 6th mini album of the same name. This marks their first release in a year, since the “Poet | Artist” on May 25th of last year.
The title track, “Atmos,” is an electronic house-based dance song that harmoniously blends glitchy synths, rhythmic bass, and a freely varying progression.
“Atmos” was written by longtime SM songwriter KENZIE who has worked on songs such as “Into The New World” by Girl’s Generation, “Supernova” by aespa, and “Monster” by EXO.
Andrew Choi, singer and producer, under SM, co-produced “Atmos” and has worked on “Soda Pop” by the Saja Boys, “Tempo” by EXO, “STUNNER” by TEN, and “MOVE” by TAEMIN.
“Atmos” was also co-produced by eldon who has worked on “Hug” by RIIZE & “Why You So Bad?” by TWS, and Rouno who has worked on “Motto” by ITZY & “COLOR” by NCT WISH.
The new album “Atmos” also features five other tracks, including “HOURS”, “Possibility”, “Anti Believer”, “Still Raining” and “Thousand Miles Away”.
SHINee first performed “Atmos” at their eighth solo concert, – The Trilogy I – 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII : [THE INVERT], which took place for three days from May 29 to 31 at the KSPO ME in SDOeoul Olympic Park.
Meanwhile, SHINee will hold solo concerts at the Saitama Belluna Dome in Japan on June 5 and 7. “The Trilogy”, is a three-part concert series that will continue from this year through 2028, their 20th debut anniversary.
