KiiiKiii Releases Music Video for 2010s-Inspired Pop Off Pop Off
On August 10th, KiiiKiii released the music video for their newest title track, Pop Off Pop Off, from their 3rd mini-album WhyKiiiKiii.
The title track, Pop Off Pop Off, brings out KiiKiii’s unique personality to the fullest. Intense synth sounds, a catchy beat, and an addictive chorus that lingers in your ears after just one listen create an energy that explodes instantly, just as the title suggests.
The lyrics were written by singer-songwriter SUMIN (Armageddon by aespa & Lie by JIMIN of BTS), Balming Tiger member Omega Sapien (See That by NMIXX & KiiiKiii’s last title track 404 (New Era), electronic artist iiso (befree by KB), singer-songwriter Yoon Da Hye (Different Girl by NMIXX & KWON EUNBI), and Seo Kyung Moon.
The track was composed by Ben Berger (Shut Up and Dance by WALK THE MOON & Riff Off from Pitch Perfect 3), Ryan Rabin (F.F.F by Bebe Rexha & Lonely Hearts Club by MARINA), Noé (Girl In The Mirror by HONG JIN YOUNG & Meet Me by Mickey Valen), and Zimbabwean-born composer and DJ MLITE (Bang Bang by IVE, Aura by AND2BLE, Delulu by KiiiKiii & Ice Cream by YUNA of ITZY).
The album contains a total of six songs, including the title track Pop Off Pop Off, as well as Ever2Late!, Hey Hi, SWEET SOUR, pre-release Candy Pink Magic Hole Flip Phone (What Should I Do?) and Blue Hour.
Breaking away from familiar refreshing vibes or cliché resort images, they have created a long flow encompassing the unfamiliar morning air, midday heat, events that suddenly intrude like a sudden shower, dancing under the sunset, nights where one doesn’t want to go home.
