On August 14th at Midnight (Local Time), KATSEYE has released the music video for their title track Hootie Frutti from their newest third ep WILD. Hootie Frutti combines Brazilian funk-style percussion, lush pop sounds, and heavy drums.
KATSEYE enhanced the song’s atmosphere with their signature powerful performances. Particularly, the track instantly captivates listeners with KATSEYE’s intense energy, leaving a strong impression through its exotic and dynamic vibe.
Hootie Frutti is produced by Thom Bridges, who has worked with other HYBE artists on tracks such as BOOMPALA by LE SSERAFIM and Big Girls Don’t Cry by ENHYPEN, as well working on Heartbreak Anthem by Galactis, David Guetta and Little Mix.
The track is co-written by Thom Bridges, Rachel West who worked on Puppet Show by XG & Live and Let Die by Guns’ N Roses, Amanda ‘Kiddo’ Ibanez who worked on like JENNIE by JENNIE & CRAZY by LE SSERAFIM and singer, musician, and actress Daniela Gonzalez, also known as Dulce y Agraz.
WILD captures KATSEYE’s journey toward embracing all aspects of their inner selves and moving toward instinct and freedom, reflecting their bold attitude to break free from others’ gazes and predefined frameworks.
The EP includes four other tracks pre-releases PINKY UP, and Animal (written by Ed Sheeran). As well as Bel Air (Written by Charli XCX), and That Way. Following the release of Wild and the theatrical release of their movie Katseye: Wild Hearts in August, Katseye will embark on the Wildworld Tour.
The Wildworld Tour will kick things off in Dublin, Ireland on Sept. 1 and conclude in Mexico City on Nov. 27. as well as tour stops in London, Los Angeles. Miami, Paris, Chicago, Boston, and Montreal.
