On September 4th, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo released the music video for CLICK, the first pre-release single from her first full-length solo album.
CLICK is co-written by Jisoo herself, Caroline Allin (Touch by KATSEYE), Simon Wilcox (Jealous by Nick Jonas), Sir Nolan (Rare by Selena Gomez), and Simon Says (In The Name Of Love by Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha).
The song captures the instant two people are drawn to one another before words can explain it. It is a dance-pop song centred on synths and bass, with simple instrumentation emphasising the rhythm.
Joseph Kahn, the Grammy-winning Korean American director, directed the music video. The music video places the track within a dark, fairy-tale abandoned carnival.
Jisoo debuted with BLACKPINK in 2016 and started solo work in 2023 with “ME” before moving into acting.
