The time of day and seasons mirror the ebb and flow of real life, so each day on your island is a chance to check in and find new surprises all year round.<\/p><p>The Animal Crossing: New Horizons \u2013 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 system on Jan. 15 20206 with such as:<\/p><p><strong>Higher Resolution:<\/strong> You can now view your island in high quality up to 4k (TV Mode)<\/p><p><strong>Mouse controls:<\/strong> Now with the right  Joy-Con 2 controller you can decorate indoors, create Custom Designs and even compose hand-written bulletin-board messages.<\/p><p><strong>Enhanced Multiplayer:<\/strong> You can have fun and explore each others island up to 12 players (All need Switch 2 Version) and added support for CameraPlay.<\/p><p>That\u2019s not all: A free update is also coming to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game for the Nintendo Switch system on Jan. 15.<\/p><p>Both versions of the game will receive new features to experience including:<\/p><p><strong>Resort Hotel\u2019s Grand Opening:<\/strong> A resort hotel is opening on the pier, and it\u2019s run by Kapp\u2019n\u2019s family. You\u2019ll help out by decorating guest rooms and more. Plus, find new furniture and clothing at the souvenir shop and dress up mannequins with outfits that guests can wear.<\/p><p><strong>Making Island Life More Convenient:<\/strong> Want a fresh start? Resetti is on hand with a convenient Reset Service to help tidy up your island. Additionally, you can now upgrade your home storage to hold up to 9,000 items, and store trees, shrubs and flowers there, too.<\/p><p><strong>Slumber Island:<\/strong> Players with a Nintendo Switch Online membership can design and save up to three islands and play with friends online.
