ZEROBASEONE EMP (Seok Matthew and Park Gunwook) releases Sketch Film for Pina C from their first EMP mixtape

ZEROBASEONE EMP (Seok Matthew & Park Gunwook) has released the sketch film for Pina C on September 21 at 6 PM KST from their first mixtape, EMP Mixtape Vol.1: We the Extra. EMP is ZEROBASEONE’S first official unit.

The mixtape has two double title tracks, EMP and Pina C, alongside Woofer and In Your Rain.

Park Gunwook & Seok Matthew co-wrote Pina C, and they also wrote, composed, and produced all four tracks, along with X3RO, who worked on ZEROBASEONE’s Customise. Chan Ran of INHOUSE, who worked on Superior by NMIXX, also co-wrote the track.

Pina C takes its name from the cocktail pina colada, pairing a mumbaton rhythm with K-pop and rap elements over soft piano, bass, synths, and percussion. The unit name EMP comes from Electromagnetic Pulse, and also folds in their initials as Extra MTT and PGW.

ZEROBASEONE EMP will release a digital single in November.
