ZEROBASEONE becomes first 5th-generation K-Pop group to surpass 10 million album sales

ZEROBASEONE has surpassed 10 million cumulative album sales, according to the Hanteo Chart. With the release of their sixth mini-album, ASCEND-, the group officially exceeded 10 million cumulative album sales.

Released on May 18, ASCEND- topped Hanteo Chart’s daily physical album chart on its first day. The album also ranked No. 1 on QQ Music’s digital album mini-album chart in China.

The title track TOP 5 reached No. 1 on Spotify Japan’s Viral Chart, and its music video surpassed 40 million views in their fastest time yet and ranked No. 2 worldwide in 24-hour music video views after release.

Their debut album, YOUTH IN THE SHADE, became the first debut album by a K-pop group to achieve double million-seller status. Their second mini album, MELTING POINT, made them double million-sellers for two consecutive releases.

ZEROBASEONE continued their streak with million-selling albums, including You had me at HELLO, CINEMA PARADISE, BLUE PARADISE, and their first full-length album NEVER SAY NEVER.

ASCEND- captures the group’s musical identity and direction as they embark on a new chapter. The title track TOP 5reinterprets 2000s dance-pop with a modern twist, blending contemporary R&B moods with hip-hop rhythms.

The 6th mini album captures ZEROBASEONE’s present from the closest possible perspective, while offering a preview of their new journey filled with infinite possibilities.

On February 12, ZEROBASEONE’s agency WAKEONE announced that Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook will be continuing together as five members.
