ITZY’s Yuna has released her solo debut.
On March 23rd at 6pm KST, Yuna of ITZY released her debut title track “Ice Cream” off her 1st Mini Album of the same name. The album also includes the tracks “B-Boy”, “Blue Maze” and “Hyper Dream”.
The Korean Lyrics for “Ice Cream” were written by WJSN Member EXY (“Bang Bang” by IVE & “Body” by Dayoung). Perrie (“Not Shy” by ITZY & “Baddie” by IVE), and UYEON (“La La Love Me” by VIVIZ).
“Ice Cream” is co-produced and co-written by Marc Sibey & Nathan Cunningham (“Do It” by Stray Kids), FEYI (“Tweak” by GIRLSET), Breyan Isaac (“Whistle” by Flo Rida), and MLITE (“Bang Banbg” by IVE).
At a press briefing on the afternoon of the 23rd in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, Yuna stated: “I’m nervous. It feels as thrilling and exciting as my debut with ITZY. I have high expectations… hope everyone will love solo Yuna. This is my first solo project after seven years, so I feel a lot of pressure and want to do my best.”
Regarding the title track, Yuna stated, “I tried to fill it with my own musical colour. It captures bright and natural energy. I hope people enjoy it as a commute song while driving in spring.”.
Yuna shared her aspirations: “As I start my second act as a solo artist, I want to be remembered as an artist who positively influences the public. I hope to be recognized as a capable singer in the solo scene.”.
YUNA is the Maknae of ITZY, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2019. She made her acting debut in 2026 in Undercover Miss Hong and is set to appear in Favourite Employee.
