On March 3, NewJeans’ agency ADOR posted an announcement on fan community platform Weverse regarding updates to Phoning, the exclusive communication platform for NewJeans and their official fandom, Bunnies.
According to the notice, Phoning will reorganise some of its existing content as part of efforts to improve the service. The platform stated that it deeply values the memories built between the artists and fans.
To provide better service, certain content will be restructured and some features will be discontinued according to the announced schedule.
Phoning added that, since the content contains cherished memories for fans, there will be a designated viewing period before it is removed. Specifically, the conversation history on the Messages tab with Danielle will no longer be available starting at 11 a.m. on April 3.
On December 29, ADOR announced the termination of its exclusive contract with Danielle. The agency also filed a lawsuit against her and others, seeking 43.1 billion KRW (approximately 32 million USD) in penalties and damages.
