Jennie donates 100 Million KRW (~70,000 USD) from ‘J2NNI5’ photo exhibition

On February 24th KST, singer Sean shared on Instagram that “Jennie donated 100 million KRW to the ‘Raise the Temperature of Korea by 1 Degree’ campaign, adding her own money to the profits from her January photo exhibition ‘J2NNI5.’”

The donation will be used to provide coal briquettes to climate-vulnerable households across the country, Sean went on to explain:

“With 100 million KRW, 112,000 coal briquettes can be purchased, enough for 560 households to get through one month of the cold winter… For some, coal briquettes are not a choice but a necessity to survive the winter,… Thank you for making Korea a little warmer.”

Previously, Jennie held her solo photo exhibition ‘J2NNI5’ in Jongno-gu, Seoul, from January 16th to 29th in celebration of her 30th birthday, announcing that all ticket proceeds would be donated.
