Hanteo Chart has now reported that ‘EUPHORIA’ by ALPHA DRIVE ONE on to sell an impressive total of 1,441,270 copies within the first week of its release (January 12 to 18).
ALPHA DRIVE ONE was formed on Mnet’s Survival Show Boys II Planet and has 8 members, Sangwon, Anxin, Leo, Xinlong, Junseo, Sanghyeon, Arno and Geonwoo and is under WakeOne, a subsidiary of CJ E&M.
The figure marks the second highest first-week sales of any debut album in Hanteo history, bested only by ZEROBASEONE’s ‘YOUTH IN THE SHADE’ from 2023.
This success shows the power of MNET Survival Shows such as Boys Planet, Boys II Planet, I-LAND and Produce 101, as well as the success of CJ’s label WAKEONE, label of ZEROBASEONE, IZNA and ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
