On Monday 1 December, Maltese broadcaster PBS announced the names of the 18 acts that will be participating in its national final, Malta Eurovision Song Contest.

- Stefan Gaela – Pose
- Ema – Achikuku (Don’t Think About It)
- Kelsey Attard – Perfectly Broken
- Adria Twins – Nerġà Nqum
- Kelsie Borg – Let A Girl Breathe
- Matthew Cilia – Brutality Mentality
- MATT BLXCK – Ejja Lejja ħdejja ‘l Hawn (The Flute)
- Rhiannon Micallef – Hold Myself Up
- Mychael Bartolo Chircop – My Sweet Angel
- Aidan – Bella
- DENISE – Trophy
- Nathan Psaila – Ganador
- Mark Anthony Bartolo – Mumenti Sbieħ
- Janice Mangion – Univers
These 18 artists will compete in one semi-final on Thursday 15 January. From there, 12 will progress to the final two days later on Saturday 17 January.
At the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in May, Malta was represented by the winner of Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Miriana Conte.
With her song SERVING, Miriana took Malta to the Grand Final for the first time since 2021, when Destiny rocked Rotterdam with Je Me Casse.
