It’s been reported that former TEEN TOP member C.A.P is serving as chair of the ‘Idol Labor Union Preparatory Committee’.
On November 7 KST, entertainment agency Modern Berry Korea confirmed, “It’s true that our artist Bang Minsu is currently chair of the ‘Idol Labor Union Preparatory Committee’.”
Earlier, it was reported that the Idol Labor Union Preparatory Committee submitted a request for official union establishment with the Seongnam branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor in September. Currently, around 10 former and active K-Pop idols have expressed their intentions of joining the union, including singer Ailee.
Meanwhile, Bang Minsu debuted as a member of TEEN TOP in 2010, then left the group in 2023. Soon afterward, he began his activities as a YouTuber.
